London Marathon

Hi,

Im wondering if anyone could help me..?

I would really like to run the London Marathon this year in memory of my partner who died of SADS 7 years ago this year.

I would like to raise awareness for SADS UK ..

Im sure the entries to the Marathon is closed now.. Is there any way SADS Uk could speak to the organisers to help me get involved?

Thank you in advance,

Rebecca

Re: London Marathon

Hi Rebecca

I am really sorry to hear about your partner dying of SADS, these types of deaths are devastating and bewildering.  We very much appreciate your offer of running the London Marathon in support of SADS UK.  Unfortunately our place has gone this year.  Running in this event is very popular.and the charity is on a waiting list to get more places.  We would be very grateful if you'd like to put in a personal entry and run for us next year.

We do however have some places left for the British London 10k, which is also a popular event being held on Sunday 12th July.  You can find more info on www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk  We have a picnic in St James' Park afterwards for our runners and spectators and its a great fun day.

Are you on our database to receive newsletters and updates where we keep people up to date with progress of the charity.  We have a Gala of Massed Male Choirs being held in Cardiff on the 7th February and a Retreat nr Bridgnorth on the 15th to the 18th February.  Please let me know if you'd like further information about these events.

Best Wishes

Anne Jolly
